Hi guys,

I have a question for you: when rendering a scene for a school project, big blue stripes are showing (like aberrations?), it looks like flickering. Do you have any explanations and solutions to fix this?
The preview is in attachment of this message ;)

I also take advantage of this message to ask you if there is a solution for another problem.
When rendering textures on a voronoi animation, textures are projected on the surface very strangely.
And I wonder if it's not related to the stripes problem because as you can see, the stripes don't appear on the platform where the sculpture is standing.

It's looks like there is a projection problem but I tried different projection methods (cubic, flat and front) and none of theme fix the problem. Is there a mapping parameter to change in corona or c4d?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Olivier

~1GB... oh... well, strip your scene down to get to only what's causing the issue.
On the way you might also solve a problem or two ;)
And, if not, post bare essentials.

You managed to NOT attach the only important textures (the ones for the Voronoi fracture object).
Can't help ...

A guess: It's the cubic mapping plus some seams (tiling) caused by the texture(s) of the Voronoi.

Hi Cinemike,

Thanks for your messages.

I'm so sorry for the missing textures, my bad! Here is the link for the new file : https://www.swisstransfer.com/d/fd4b9280-7e8f-45fe-89c0-2523482ff91a

For your guess about tiling issues, it is a good point! I search a bit, play with the tiling parameters (seamless and tile) but it didn't really change anything.
I'm quite suprise there is not that much parameters in the material tag, perhaps adding bake material tag to have more flexibility on the material mapping?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Olivier

Taking a closer look at the render result and the material/texture you use, no more questions remain.

Oh god I feel embarrassed... I didn't even check the texture because I found it on poliigon...

Lesson : always check assets before crying for help!

Thanks a lot.
