I'm currently using Cinema 4d R23 and Corona Renderer 6. For some reason both applications will just unexpectedly close without any error messages. This tends to happen whenever I'm using interactive rendering. I was wondering if anyone would happen to know a solution to this problem?

Hello,

does this happen in every scene, or in just some specific ones?

Thanks,
Jan

I will say the crashes I had with the IR running have been greatly reduced with the v7 daily builds up to the December 2020 release. The current build crashes too much for me, so I went back one. I'm also using r20 on Mac which might make a difference, don't know.

Hey guys really appreciate the input. The fix ended up being beanzvision's solution, I've been able to render all day without any problems. Thank you so much!

@beanzvision Where can I find this AppData folder on Mac? I'd like to try this.

"Go to C:\Users\_username_\AppData\Local\CoronaRenderer and remove all files inside this folder.
Note: While this is perfectly safe to do, it will require re-activation of Corona upon the next Cinema 4D launch."

Hello,

the mac equivalent is Users/user/Library/Application Support/Corona.

Thanks,
Jan
