Is there a way to make a single light exclude somethings and include others at the same time?

You can either use Include, or Exclude - I am not sure how what you are asking for would be used :) If you "include" an object all other objects will be excluded anyway, so adding something to the exclude list at the same time is redundant. If you "exclude" an object, all others will be included anyway, so adding an object to the include at the same time would also be redundant.

I was asking if you could both include and exclude simultaneously with the same light source.

Well that's the thing, you can't, but it doesn't make sense to - you are either including something already included, or excluding something already excluded. Unless you have some use case in mind that I can't think of, which is why I ask.

e.g. "Include: Chair1 Chair2, Exclude: Chair2" (just don't put Chair2 in the include)
"Include: Chair1 Chair2, Exclude: Sofa" (Sofa isn't in the include list so was excluded already)
...and so on
