The scene is simple, material - simple, no reflections. One light - spherical corona light. All by default. This has already been discussed or is it a bug?

yes, this is a known of shading normals, you have to increase subdivision of the curved objects

There is some stuff I could try, but this will be always a problem in physically-based rendering, since shading normals are inherently fake
