Yes, same here. I realize that the multi-environment setup needs to be taken care of and the UI is a challenge here, but it really shouldn't hide the overrides. I guess many people use a background override, it really shouldn't be that hard to access.
As I wrote elsewhere, if you want to use the 3dsmax environment, using an override becomes really cumbersome: switch to advanced to access the override, set your override, switch back to 3dsmax. If you want to change an override, you have to repeat those 3 steps each time. That's really awkward.
Also, the multiple environment slots should get a checkbox. I really hate to have to 'store' my environment maps (or anything else for that matter) somewhere in the mat-editor only to switch it off. (The same illogic applies to Ray Switch). Having a checkbox allows for a non-destructive workflow, anything else is just inconvenient and cumbersome.
