Is there a way to get a mask rendered for decals?
For instance, in the attached image is there a way to render a mask for the pink parts which are a Corona Decal in this case?
Material ID, Object ID, or anything else dont seem to work.
Previously in situations like these, I would have to make a second render with a black material override for all the materials in a scene, and then turn all the label/decal materials into self-illuminating materials to get a black and white render to use as a mask in post. I was under the impression that Corona Decals would spare me the second render.

Particles don't work with Corona unfortunately

None of those are supported in C4D.
If x-particles were supported I'm sure we would see an uptick in usage. Right now corona has no support for particles in Cinema 4D.

Those look like there's something wrong with the normals, not the shadows.
Are the models imported from somewhere else? I get this kind of stuff with CAD models sometimes.

You need to uncheck bloom and glare.

Add the virtual beauty pass and uncheck bloom and glare, you'll get your final image without bloom and glare.

5900x with 64GB RAM, 2min 14 sec render time.

Ive had this happen to me as well, fortunately I always do a 3 frame test render on Rebus, so I catch them, but it does add time to the whole process.
Ideally, there would be separate render regions for IR and Final renders. Maybe, if possible, even a popup saying you have render region enabled before it starts rendering.

Do you have opengl corona materials active?
Black viewport is usually due to some fuck up with opengl. Check your drivers as well, sometimes I had to update the drivers, and sometimes I had to roll them back. A quick test is to turn off enhanced openGL in the viewport and see if it goes back to normal.

As a workaround, can you not bake a certain level of the displacement into the mesh, and then use bump/normal to add the smaller bumps?

You just need to upload it to a 360 compatible player, you don't need to ask clients to download anything.
Youtube, and Facebook have it, as well as loads of other sites. Last time I played around with this I uploaded my renders to kuula. The free tier allows you to upload individual 360 images, the paid one allows you to make Virtual tours by adding hotspots to individual images, and then it blends between them.

I even did a stereoscopic 360 render for google cardboard, but I can't remember if I uploaded that somewhere or if I just used it on my phone.

Are you linking the ies files from the content browser or from a folder?
I remember there were some issues with linking ies from the content browser.
