I am not referring to IR rendering. This can actually work with the photographic exposure just fine even in IR.
It is just a minor inconvenience that if you are using this workflow then if you want to adjust the exposure in a normal rendering you need to disable photographic enable regular and change it. Anyway there is not need of any bug to be reproduced, keyframing simple exposure cannot happen the program does not let you do that.

Ultimately, the problem for me with using iso is that when I want some of my images to include DOF I need to adjust the aperture and then compensate with shutter speed, you can do it of course it is just not so easy as a simple exposure value regardless of the aperture value.

Anyway, I hope it will be addressed in the future. I see no reason to continue this thread tbh.
It is honestly a very simple functionality.

"Photographic exposure" renders fine in RT/IV (CRN v10.1).

PS. I use "ISO" alone as substitute for "simple exposure".

Good idea! but still not a real time change but yes a good substitute till then.

Any news regarding this, it has been a while ? Really troublesome for archviz when you need to shoot many frames of different exposure levels overnight. Should we be expecting this any time soon? Using photographic exposure is the only alternative but it takes so much time to properly set it up cause it is not changing realtime. Feels like back to film days. :)

In the attached file you can see blocks of concrete with a universal noise pattern that continues between them.
I include another one with a white base material so you can see the noise more clearly.
What I am trying to achieve is add a separate noise pattern to each block individually.
UVW randomizer with a bitmap works, I was just wondering if I could do this with c4d noises as well since it provides more flexibility.

Is it possible to use uvw randomizer with C4d noise ?
I found a similar question for 3dsmax in the forums but nothing for c4d.

* What I am trying to achieve is combine a global noise pattern with an object specific one.

+1 !!!! pretty serious we are talking about basic functionality.
Personally I get the LUTs to load fine.

@tyler88, in the meantime you could try using the properties of "corona camera" tab, the keyboard input works there although you  cannot keyframe the values for some reason ( maybe this is helpful in pinpointing the bug itself )

Hello everyone,
I have a small improvement suggestion for the corona VFB.
I would love to have more zoom steps as an option, currently it is going from too small to too big in a single step, which makes working with a small screen a bit harder.
Not sure if this is something to do with c4d itself.
Nevertheless, I believe it would increase productivity for others as well. Hope its something that can easily be implemented.
Sorry if it already mentioned I could not find something in the forum.

Somehow It did not create a bugreport in the usual directory. I extracted the attached text from the c4d crash dialog hope it is still helpful.
(*I recreated the problem with my older imac just because I need to keep working on the macbook that I initially faced it.)

After installing the latest build of Corona Renderer 8 for Cinema 4D (Daily Build 2022-02-02)
a scene I was working with the previous version crashes on open, tried multiple times.
Starting a new C4d scene start normally. Also past files created with older builds open normally. Not sure what causes this behaviour. Any ideas would be very welcome.
Going back to the previous build solves the problem. Wondering if anyone else faced the same problem.

ps. Thanks for the curvature map! This was the main reason I wanted to try the new version.

From personal testing comparing:
iMac 2017 (64gb ram) / Macbook Pro m1 max (64gb)

I tested a few interior scenes (archviz) @4k resolution
Final render times were decreased to about 60-65% of the time,
effectively an image that required approx. 60 minutes would now be rendered in ±35-40 minutes.

Ipr feels a lot faster and especially the material preview.
Render seem to starts a lot faster as well.

* intel ai denoiser was seemingly a bti slower although I did not make an actual meaasurement and I guess it makes sense, not sure if ither denoiser options should work better with m1 processors.

Congrats to corona team for making such a stable and fast native app, great job!

Hello everyone,
Dome mapping is such a powerful feature thanks for implementing it to C4d.
I was wondering if there is a way to make the dome projection visible in the viewport in the current build or if its something that is still under development.
I realise you can always use interactive rendering to tweak things but just wanted to check if I am missing anything.

Hello,
I am experiencing instant crash while on loading screen of the application after installing Corona 6 release candidate 1 + 2. (new scenes)
I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.
I really wanted to try the distance shader so bad!!! :)

PSD files support upto 2GB. Another photoshop file format is PSB which supports large files. You may try to choose PSB instead of PSD as saving format.
