[Max] I need help! / Motion blur and realflow
« on: 2017-03-17, 13:20:06 »
Hi guys!

Quick question: is it possible to get motion blur working with realflow? Have a look into the attached image, pretty sure all my motion blur settings are correct, yet I can't get it working with realflow, doesn't matter if it's as a RF object or collapsed to Corona proxy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best

Hi guys!

In the link below you can find a short tutorial on how you can use Facebooks new 360 feature for CGI panoramas, very cool trick.

And this is how it will look like if it works for you(it's a Corona render so hope it'll be all good for this forum ;) )

Hi guys,

I do understand that this one is probably a very small request, but it would be really helpful if you could use snap when creating a light source (which you can do in the other rendering engine). Just in case submitted via mantis as well.

Good afternoon guys,

Stumbled across this weird problem just today. Not sure if someone had this problem before, I tried searching, but didn't find much so...

I have a tree using opacity map for leaves. Behind those leaves I have an object that has both normal glass and frosted glass, it's one object with two material IDs! The normal glass seems to be affected by opacity map, which makes the opacity to infinity or something? This thing does not happen on the frosted glass, which is even weirder. Please have a look at the image attached.

Hopefully someone will be able to help me.

Best regards
Simon

Edit:/ Ah yes, there is DOF in camera and the tree is proxied.

Good afternoon guys,

Unfortunately I have some serious issues with Corona recently. I've been going between 1.2.1 and the newest daily builds trying to fix this, but nothing helps.

Recently almost every scene that I'm working with has trouble rendering or even saving with Corona. 'Parsing the scene' and saving files takes ages. I have to wait for parsing to finish for 5-10 minutes on a simple interior scene. When trying to distribute to other machines I have to wait even longer, cause the scene has to save, then parsing... takes hours, not kidding, one scene took 7 hours to start to render. I am working inside a company network, all my files are kept inside that network so it's all UNC paths. Anyone else experienced this issue? Is there some kind of a simple fix?

Best regards
Simon

Hi guys!

Recently I took the time to do a few of additional close-ups from projects I was working on, these are just some small details, but I enjoyed making them and hopefully you'll enjoy watching them.

Have a great week!

Good morning all,

I've never posted here before and it's actually been quite a long time since I've posted to any forum so I do hope you'll like this entry.

Below you can find some images that I did as a commercial project, for a housing developer in Poland. Visualizations present a sample interior for a home project called Blueberry. This is actually the second time I had the pleasure of using Corona for commercial purposes and I have to say that it's a really enjoyable experience. Hopefully you'll like these images and have a lovely day!
