Hi guys
I am an vray/octane user and this is my first test with Corona after take a look at news on Cinema 4D plugin.
I like the Corona workflow, it is simple to setup lighting and materials
BUT
I don't understand why i have to set so low values, for example bump at 0.001, or how smooth it.... Is it right or i have to use different images (upper/lower contrast, ecc)????
Anyway
I tested positive feelings, therefore i hope in developments for C4D users.

Regards from Italy

Looking cool! :)

The Cinema 4D plugin is still in it's early alpha (even though it has the same core as 3ds Max Alpha 7.1) and the bump strength is one of those things that need to be "fixed" :)

Corona is quite superb though (imho and for the same reasons you noted yourself) and as you might have noticed it is sometimes necessary to put a filter over the bump map in order to have a more precise control over bump values. It is a workaround and it works, the downside is obviously a few extra clicks :)

Hope its sunny in Italy! ;)
