Hey everyone,

Posting some images from a personal project done with Corona.

The Cartier Carat was modeled on Modo and rendered on Corona + Iray for the caustics. I tried the Corona caustics for this bottle but the definition from Iray was a better choice for these images, if anyone know what I did wrong to not get these results using Corona caustics, please let me know.

And of course let me know what you guys think about the images, thank you!

We would be interested in finding out what might be wrong with our caustics, so if you are able to send us the scene, we would greatly appreciate it. :)

Hi Maru,
I don't think we have something wrong with Corona caustics, Iray has a better definition for the caustics itself I think, also it cleans faster because of the GPU. My main question is how to get a cleaner look with caustics like this on Corona, I tried experimental settings but it didn't work as expected, I got too much noise and fireflies, even with denoiser set to remove fireflies.

Overall the look of the caustics are the same between Iray and Corona, so maybe I've written the question in the wrong way. :)
Thanks anyway.
Leo.

That's exactly what I would call "something wrong with our caustics". :)

Well I guess you are correct on this one. :)
It works great though, here is a render from a pool that I did recently.

Thanks!
