what a great news. I'm a cinema user and i studied corona in 3ds because i was very interested about that. In corona i found what i missed in other renderer like vray and mental ray, so i can't wait for the arrive!

So thrilled about Corona for C4D! Will it support the released R16 also right from the start of the public alpha?

How do the features compare to Corona for 3dsmax at the moment? Does it lack many?

The software needs to be in the beta stage :)
I tried to be an alpha tester but they closed the submissions. Since that the public alpha release is eminent, you'll have plenty of testing to do...

there were some bugs in the build. They were fixed and new release candidate was shipped yesterday. If everything goes well, this is the version that will get publicly released next week.
