Hi

I have a pretty simple material applied to an object with a noise bump map that looks perfect from a distance, but is really temporally noisy close up. I'm using path tracing and giving it pretty long render times, but the noise texture appears to change on every frame, where it should be static.

I've used the same material in a similar close up in another video, and it was perfect.

I'm assuming it's something to do with the way I've lit it, but I've tried moving the lights around and get similar results.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for things I might try to fix it? I've attached the project file if you want to take a look at the settings.

Thanks
Chris

Hi there, can you try changing the GI solver to UHD cache under the Corona General settings tab and then under the Secondary GI tab ensure that ''Animation (Flicker-free)'' to see if that helps?

I'd also suggest loading your bitmaps with the Corona bitmap shader if you aren't already. Also, set the filtering method to Bicubic (smoother) as that might help as well. I do hope it helps! :)
