i think it is easy fixable if the above mentioned things are repaired (if it uses same settings and curves, per camera, as in older versions)

problem is one cant buy the plugin, only a bundle with many plugins, which is very costly (more than 2x corona price).

i think i woudl like this plant generator if it was sold as single plugin, like for 150.- or 200.- it might be ok i think (800 for the bundle is a bit much),
from features it looks very nice

more or less snot a single scene i open renders right, it looks totally different (due new tonemapping)

atm the new version are yet not usabel for me,  i stay on older beta, - have to wait for this things to be fixed.
if you need anymore  infos from me tell me pls.

set tiling and offset  etc in the material tag not in the shader

add decal material to the object, on top of base material,
activate "add",
set to flatmapping,
turn off tile in the material tag,
use scale and offset the place the decal (or c4d textures tools)

the parts outside the decal will be automatic transparent in corona(use a bitmap in the opacity slot, if you want with corona bitmap

works pretty easy

here similar issues,
it forgets parts or all saved tonemapping (per cam) when the scene has several cams and one switches cams

the new curve editor has a grid not 12x12 as before, but 8x8,

this is a bit unpleasant i think, a curve grid should be always dividable by 3 i believe (as 3rds are often needed and used) with 8 it is really hard to define easy 1/3 by grid.

the 12x12 grid before was pretty ideal i feel. any chance to get this (more precise) option back?
12 divides by 3 and 4 and 2, (much better than 8 which only divides by 2 and 4)

ok after checking i see, i new beta in uses totally wrong values for almost all settings:

exposure is different than in file (as was opening in 6,7, or older v8 beta)
highlight compress,contrast, saturation, filmic, uses a different values
curve as said before is totally ignored

before we had per camera tone mappng settings, some how these arent yet working right into new system i think

edit: to be more precise it seems to take the right values(beside the missing curve) of the first camera, but not when i switch cameras to another view.
i keep testing

Hi

first congrats on  the new tone mapping, i test yet to try to get the same output as before.

one thing i see that isnt right when i open my old scenes, is that the curve setting is ignored and not added to the new tone mapping system.
we heavily use custom curves in our process and need those also in new v8 beta when opening our scenes

i hope it is easy to fix that/adding the old curve paramater to the new system.

i hope this is the major source for the different look so far, will continue to test:)

edit: on more tries this time it did also "forget" the lut setting", so seems randomly it yet misses some settings in new file when opening old scenes with more than one camera and different settings per camera

i sadly have yet to clear some things if i am allowed to send the affected scenes, in meanwhile it is in more than one scene.

no other has crashes in v8 betas and r25.017?
i cant find a pattern, but it always render ok if i end up rendering it in r23 (with same v8 beta) where it works ok, must be a r25 related issue

dear all,
i tried the latest v8 beta, i see the problem with missing materials in cosmos seem still be there.
i tried 2english oak 0032 this time

2 of 4 assigned materials are empty and rendering white

hope this info helps, and you can fix that soon, it affects many assets yet which makes most uses of cosmos limited yet
