Thank you for the support, it's very nice for us and I can assure you that there is no problem with Windows 10. I noticed it when I first switched to Win 11 at the beginning. I thought that the drivers were not yet up to date etc. In the end the problem is still there.
Good luck
ps: if you want to send me specific builds or settings to do, I can make myself available
indeed it's exactly the same problem. the lag occurs during IR rendering and classic rendering. the strangest thing is that it happens only under win 11, under win 10 no problem i'm waiting to see if a solution is going to be found otherwise i'll go back to win 10
In fact it's not the first time I've noticed this, I have 2 PCs and it only does it on the threadripper. All my drivers are up to date, latest version for everything.
It's really very strange and I can't solve this problem
Am I the only one to have more lag under win 11 during a render. Under win 10 I never had any problem. I could do a photoshop but under win 11 it lags too much during a calculation The machine has not changed. I'm on threadripper 3990 X 128 G 4090 RTX
thank you for your feedback. you have understood the idea well If you run out of ideas in the future you can add it. Like the osl parallax shader which would be a must have as well as the edge trimming in the corona scatter ;)
I am looking for a solution to add a fade to the slicer but I can't find it. In the cap material I have linked with a shader that has a driven opacity via a distance shader. But I don't know if this is the way to go.
I specify that I really want to use the slicer because we can add several objects in it
Thank you for your feedback. But not having the hand and time to clean the model I was just looking for a solution with the shaders. For me there is a problem with the Curvature node when it is connected to the transparency.
But I found the solution. I had to activate the self illumination
But when I want to remove the shadows with the composition tag it doesn't work anymore
