Hi guys
As usual , I am in a major time crunch...
I have been collaborating with another Max user , he is on 3ds max 2022 , I am on 2021.
When I bring his geometry into my file I get an error which says the incoming chamfer modifier is version 405 , and im using 400 (something like that) This is a chamfer on a editpoly at sublevel.
Even if the geometry is collapsed totally before bringing it in I still get the error.
Further to this he uses railclone , which I dont , then he collapses to Edit poly before sending it to me.
So , now at the end of all of this , when I render my wirecolors are a total mess...I have tried adjusting individually and everything should be normal , but when I render I get this weird bleeding affect and I couldnt use them at all....see attached.

Any advice or way to fix the wire color problem will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi, I am from the support team. I will try my best to assist you with your problem.

I have few questions for you :

1. Can you let me know the 3dsmax & corona version you are using?
2. Can you write few simple steps to reproduce this problem?
3. Can you send me your scene for a close inspection? You can upload your scene using our private uploader : Private Uploader | Corona Renderer (corona-renderer.com)

Once you have done uploading your scene, do let me know the file name.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Regards,
Avi

Are there any propagation for masks set to always or reflection? (Go to CoronaMtl, Advanced Options>Propagate masks: [mode])

Thanks man , this has fixed the error !
The materials in question which have the propogation set to "always'' are in fact the the problem. (I just put them to ''never'' and voila )
This is geometry that I have imported from the other guy...so I will have to see why his materials are set up like this , but at least we have found the source of the problem!

Thank you !!

I am glad it helped, as to why this happens. In very rare cases and after a scene merge or scene import, certain materials might have been altered to have their mask propagation set to "Always". We offer a script to address this issue at the bottom of the aforementioned link for masks.
