Hi guys

One thing i noticed when editing instances in ChaosScatter is the viewport previz type switches to box.

I generally work with point cloud. Is it possible to keep the previz mode as point cloud whilst editing instances?

Cheers

This is by design. Box provides the smoothings editing/painting experience, that is why it is used. Also color of painted/editied instances is better previewed with Box.

yes agreed but from a visual perspective boxes dont really help. If I want to fine tune a trees position I need to keep toggling back to point cloud or run interactive to see its actual position. Moving instances in forest pack has minimal impact using point cloud so surely it can be done with ChaosScatter?
