First off, thank you for removing the zoom buttons and adding the “calculate after render” option to bloom and glare.
I couldn’t find any information about this checkbox and assume it’s a placeholder for now, as it doesn’t seem to work yet.

Maybe it’s a macOs thing, but I can’t figure out how to easily pan around a zoomed in image.
Please let me know how to get the Hand tool. It’s not the usual “press spacebar”
The PV automatically switches to the hand tool when zoomed in enough - perfect!

The right sidebar for Post, Stats, etc is very large and can’t be resized. Will it be possible to resize the sidebar in the final version?

Latest v12 RC1 lost sync abilities - restarting render became a must.

Also, agreeing on new VFB UI/UX - there's basically no progress, still too static and cumbersome to use (mind you again, we're not Max users ;)

Hi, also for me the VFB has some graphics glitch (I don't see any border frame in the different tabs) like you and the zoom scroll is very very fast.
A multipass restyling would also be appreciated with new UI for more quick interaction (with + button for add light mix layers, etc instead to make a copy of or right click - add - new ligthmix select..)

"To be honest - what I miss most is smooth stepless zooming, for some reason I was sure that we would see it after rewriting VFB :D but well, let's hope for the best"
Here I fully agree with "marchik" in the 3DS forum.

Smooth zooming and for me a fit to window button. The way it is now is a hassle.

I always have the VFB open for the settings and the C4D picture viewer for having a look at the image. Clumsy but the only way regretfully.

Same here. Why can’t Chaos just take all UX for image navigation from the PV?
Even the double click in image to “Fit to Window” and d-click again for 100%, is perfect.

Just to answer "Why can’t Chaos just take all UX for image navigation from the PV?" - because the VFB also appears in Max, so we can't just take the way either Max or C4D native tools work :) And the VFB has to be the same in both, so if you know Corona in one, you know Corona in the other.

I'm pretty much liking the new VFB - mostly now we can dock it in C4D (a long requested feature).

I had hoped the other annoying feature would have gone away - the dropdowns on the render button. It has always been probelmatic - especially when the machine is under heavy load - if even slightly unresponsive the wrong menu item can be easily selected. It would be MUCH better to just have all those buttons separated out - especially now there is all that space on the left with the other icons.

not sure if this has been reported elsewhere but with RC2 the VFB dropdowns don't display by the down arrows that you click on. This behaviour only happens when the VFB is used on a 2nd monitor, ie a different monitor to where C4D is running

Hello and thanks for your feedback.

@4b4... Are you using some screen scaling/zooming for the 2nd monitor?
If so, what is your screen zooming value?
What is the screen resolution for both of your monitors?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards.

About the new VFB in Corona 12.
Zoom in and zoom out is out of control with Mac. There's no fit to window or some preferences to set the speed.
The previous version automatically moves the full screen view to a second desktops nice.
I don' know why is not possible to have all the settings of the post visible and ready to use (like Camera Raw for examples) but I have to choose them every time.
Personally I prefer to have a frame for every botton. Also the symbols used are not very understandable.
