That's i wanted to hear :) I just wanted to make sure there were no regrets using Corona, as i still honestly realize there are some complex scenarios where using Corona may send you to the dead end. But hopefully there will be no such scenarios in retail release :)

You're right. There was a few boring things during this project (like no solution to remove noise from overbrighted areas in DoF and MB). But the process much more friendly to artist than V-Ray's. Some things are missing in Corona at the moment (like no render elements thru glass or matte material). But it is great pleasure to use Corona.

I wonder if you tried adaptivity. :)

You're right. At the end of project (the last camera) I had to use progressive mode render with adaptivity. I was the solution, but noise still was there. :(

I was just curious because it's almost never mentioned on the forums and I think it can speed up stuff in some cases.

Thats really great, did you manage the frames by time or quality?, like your top was 200 passes or something like that?

Looks great.  If it were me I'd throw some reelsmart motion blur on it in After Effects and possibly some subtle optical flares. Then it would honestly be hard to tell if it were cg or real in some shots. Nice set up with those PCs, very jealous.

Render was set to 100 passes in most shots so times varied.

fobus what is the main point to get clear result in 100 passes? in my experiments in much simplier scenes the lower limit is 300 passes to get + - clear result.

Hold on for just one frame. Did you use model people inside of the train?

Good to see folks using CR for animation. Was it difficult to setup the renderfarm? Also did you think about removing the noise in post with something like neatvideo denoiser?
