Trying to use the Cosmos assets. Signed in OK. Went to download an HDRI. File reached 90% then stalled (5mins). Then all other assets I tried to DL also failed. Relaunched C4D and now Assts browser is empty.
Specs S24 and S25. Mac 12.3. M1.
Any advice on troubleshooting?

Same here. R25 MacOs 12.3 M1 Max.
I wrote a ticket to the support and I tried (multiple times) every suggestion that they gave me. At first, seems to work, but then stops as before.

If someone wants to try, those are the instruction from support:

Uninstall Chaos Cosmos by going to /Applications/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos/uninstall/Uninstall

Make sure that the following folders no longer exist once you uninstall Chaos Cosmos
~/Library/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos and /Applications/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos/

Download and install the latest version of Cosmos Browser

Note: I'm on a fresh install of macOS, Cinema4d and Corona. So I don't think that the problem could be related to old junk or similar.

Personally, I think the Cosmos browser / server  is overloaded/broken since everybody started trying it :-)

Was working perfectly whilst in Release Candidates but now full of errors and unable to download models today again.

I have installed the final Corona release on my Macbook M1 (C4d 25, OSX 12.3.1). All old files deleted before. And the cosmos browser does not start.
The same configuration on my iMac Pro (2017) works fine. Even the downloads.
Is this because of the M1?

Problem solved with the latest update of Cosmos Browser. Was something related to M1.

The simple update from the Cosmos Browser window didn't works for me. I did the complete uninstall/install procedure:

Uninstall Chaos Cosmos by going to: /Applications/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos/uninstall/Uninstall

Make sure that the following folders no longer exist once you uninstall Chaos Cosmos:
~/Library/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos and /Applications/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos/

Download and install the latest version of Cosmos Browser https://download.chaos.com/?platform=47&product=62

Thank you, Aben, for your solution. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me, in spite of following your measures exactly. There must be something else at play. Maybe I can still figure it out.

Yep - mine worked once and now can't download assets again. Just rebooting to see if that helps.
