Hmm, no comments, so I guess it's decided then. 8-)
Makes sense to me.

My vote is for anything except a name that starts with a number. When people do that and you go to change you interface, their script category is above 'All Commands' which should always be at the top. Annoying sandwiches.

Woops, forgot about mantis.
Submitted over there.

Thanks

So here's an interesting one...

While rendering a test frame, I was in 'Auto Key' mode.

I unchecked 'Auto Key', turning off the mode and the Red indication went away.

Cancelled the rendering.

Came back to Max, change a parameter of an object, it set a key as if 'Auto Key' was on. Even though it indicated it wasn't.

I needed to toggle the button again to get it to take.

This actually explains some issues I've been having over the last few days.

Thanks you guys!
Cool stuff.

Thanks Peter, these are very nicely done, and a REALLY great gesture for the whole community!

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Re: Realflow animations not rendering

Just to note, this is a problem with Phoenix FD liquid sims too.
The exact same behavior...render any single frame, no problem. Render a sequence...locked to the current frame.

Thanks Maru
Great Trick.

AHA! (I can't see my curve editor now after switching my monitors around...stupid Max)

Great feature actually...I would have toned it down a little when the camera was moving quickly through the scene, but kicked it up a little when people would have noticed the noise.

The only other clue that may or may not matter is that it did start out as a Vray based scene, then I moved it over to Corona. I doubt that would matter, but just in case...that's one odd thing about it.

Thanks!

Sure...I just sent it off. My name is Andy Tanguay, file is 1401404619_UofM_bumpers_Concept_CORONA_03.max

I'm not finding any keyframes in the progressive setting...and don't see anything when I scrub through.

Hmmm

I think I've found a bit of a bug in the progressive rendering limit.

When set initially, it will work to make rendering move on when it reaches those samples, but when I cancel a rendering and try and lower it, it doesn't respect the new number. If I close and open the file, the number can even be arbitrary...the attached screen cap that says '89' is a good example. I've never put 89 in as a progressive limit.

This is consistent with the scene file I have here.

(Loving Corona so far...quite a lot actually. Keep up the great work! Thanks!)

Fantastic.

I like that the lights are target-able and have some nice visualization goodies...so if I can map those guys, all the better.

Thanks

We use a lot of softbox and umbrella HDRs when we light scenes, it'd be great to be able to do this in Corona.

Right now I'm using a light material on a piece of geometry, but I'm assuming the light primitive would be faster and/or more accurate.  Maybe that's not true...hmmm.
