Daily Build v9 Mac-Material Library Not Installing

<< < (2/2)

BigAl3D:
Restarting this thread. Still having this problem with only one Mac. Trying to install latest v10 daily and getting the error. I assume this file is cross-platform since it has no extension and the only links on the help page are for Max. It's not the end of the world, but unless I collect a project, I might have some missing texture files at some point. My only issue collecting is it makes duplicates of the texture files and takes up a lot more space.

Image attached showing the error and the downloaded MaterialLibrary next to the installer. Any issues know that's the v10 installer and that's a v9 library?

TomG:
It says failed to initialize the download, are you not downloading it separately from the link then placing it next to the installer and running it? That way the installer doesn't even try to download it and just uses the local file. Also, the mat lib hasn't changed since Corona 9 so you can just run the Corona 10 installer and use Custom and uncheck the mat lib, which means the installer won't try to install it (but it will still work since it's already installed, if you got it successfully installed with Corona 9 before, or even Corona 8 as I don't think there were mat lib changes since then).

PS, yep, the mat lib file is the same for either C4D or Max.

BigAl3D:
In the pic you can see the library next to the installer, but I don't change any settings since the help page says this: "Note: there is no need to use the "Custom" installation type or to check or uncheck any options."

I will try to uncheck that box and see. Thanks.

TomG:
Ah ok I didn't see the lib next to the installer - afaik then it shouldn't then be downloading it, even if the box is checked. Unchecking it will only work if it is already installed from previously (otherwise, the installer will complete without the error, but you'll have no mat lib at all).
