Hi guys, the texture i used in diffuse is used in displacement with paste instance. the texture mapping coordinate changed immediately when copied to displacement, but if displacement is cleared, it showed the right result. sorry, my english is not good enough to explain it in details. you can check the video.
i attached the scene which is same with the attached scene in https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,10204.0.html.

hi, I have an object with holes created from displacement. but I don't know how to smooth the crispy edges?

I have increased iterations in turbosmooth modifier to higher number, added smooth modifier, decreased screensize displacement to 1px-0.5px. but still gives no good results like I need

update attachments, sorry I didn't upload the textures. but you can try using any textures similar which black to white is contrast
the texture's antialiasing is good I think, but I also increase the blur in coronabitmap to higher number (5.0)

hi, I have an asymmetric ies file to work. but it generates fireflies when bounced to glossy object I think..
and I make a comparison to max photometric light with same ies file. and the result shows that with photometric light I got no fireflies at all.
I tried to changed the LSM to 8-16, and MSI to 10, fireflies is still there. and no fireflies when use another ies file, and the same ies file rendered with vray.

hi, when I use an asymmetric ies profile on corona light, sometimes I need to rotate the ies profile. it is not comfortable if I have to rotate the light manually when the target light isn't straight to the axis.
what i mean about ies rotate feature is similar like in the max photometric light.

hi guys, most time we need to use IR with respecting the output size ratio to check what will the final result be, but sometimes i think i need IR to disrespect the output size ratio too. because in my workflow i mostly used docked IR to setup the material of each object.
see attached images, the IR view is too small to see and will looks larger if IR is unlocked from the output size ratio.

so, please dev team make an maybe a checkbox to make IR respect and not respect the output size ratio. because i need both of them.

hi guys, I'm with latest RC 1.3 and I still got the problem about IR doesn't works with material/map navigator opened, just regarding this thread https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,8780.msg57098.html#msg57098 was moved to resolved bugs board months ago.

hi, I have a problem with IR. some objects disappeared and wasn't rendered in IR, eventhough I checked the objects properties is all fine (renderable is checked).
but in the middle of rendering process, I selected the unseen objects and moved it and they were just appeared immediately.

check the recorded scene (but sorry, the scene recorded very very badly)

update:
- disappearing objects happens randomly & I have no any idea how to reproduce it in another scene
- the scene was created in dailybuild about 4 days ago, and the disappeared objects was imported from old pre1.0 corona scenes (with legacy unchecked inside the Mat editor).

this time I got many times of low RAM error message. I see that RAM is used at 75% in task manager when error message pop-up.

hi guys,
I have a small kind of interior scene, check the attachment. using the latest dailybuild 15-09-05, I got an error message "scene bounding box is too large, some shading artifacts may occur". i ignored the message and the results seems okay. the scene is just 20 square meters, 123MB.
I don't really understand to "scene bounding box", what is it? appreciate for any explanation

update:
after click render button, "too large scene bounding box" is disappear. so it is only appear when run the IR.. is it a bug or something i should understand.

hi guys, I need some help.. just like the title said, can you give me suggestion for the best cpu temp monitor software?
first time using coretemp software (www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/), I just shocked this morning because my i7-4770 got 95celcius while rendering and 40celcius while idle.

I used a plane with portal material on the windows hole. nothing happened when i used usual scene environment without override but portal changes the backplate projection when i use direct visibility overrides. check the attachments.

edit:
i think it is corona bitmap related. i just changed the environment to vrayhdri and the result is ok, nothing happened like what i mentioned before.
and it happen too on thin glass refraction material with reflection set other than 0.

lets go to how I reproduce it. start IR>open material editor>open material/map navigator (check attachments)>click on any item inside this and IR stopped.
but IR will run again when I click the "go to parent" in mat.editor until the top level and will still doesn't work if I only go to inside the texmap.

i think it is better if the corona installer display "warning DRserver/Licensingserver is running! please close all..." instead of display error message when DRserver/Licenseserver is checked.
