Hey Nejc,
I'm really grateful for your help. I've just completed the modelling phase right now, waiting for approval from the client. Will apply these principles and try.
Again, thanks a ton. It has saved a lot of time.

Regards,

Hey Nejc,
Thanks for your reply. I'll definitely apply and keep you updated. However, I'm a little lost in the varieties you advised. Is it possible to take a screenshot or something of the material layer for me?
It would be of great help.

[Max] I need help! / How to make a fabric shader?
« on: 2021-05-22, 04:32:27 »
Hello, I hope you all are doing fine. I've been trying to get my hands on the software, and I got quite curious while taking inspirations. Attached below are 2 images that are sourced from the internet. I really liked the fabric texture on the sofa here. Thus, it would be of great help if someone could guide me in a detailed way to make such a shader/material in corona renderer.

Sincerely

Hey Avi, I appreciate your prompt response. I followed your instructions and did a clean installation. Works fine, although the CPU temperature reaches 95 degrees with the stock CPU Fan. Can you suggest some affordable CPU fan for AMD Ryzen 3900X?

Sincerely

Hi, I am from the support team.

I have few questions for you :

1. Can you let me know the 3dsmax & corona version you are using?
3Dsmax 2017 + Corona 1.5
2. Is your graphic driver & other drivers up to date?
Yes, Graphic driver is up to date. Other drivers?
3. Have you monitored your CPU temp for overheating?
Yes, please find attached screenshot
4.Have you tried to do a clean uninstall & then re-install to see if that solves that problem?
I haven't tried this recently, but will give it a shot
5. Can you send me your scene for a close inspection? You can upload your scene using our private uploader : https://corona-renderer.com/upload
Once you have done uploading your scene, do let me know the file name.
I've uploaded the screenshots, would that be fine?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Regards,
Avi

[Max] I need help! / Cursor flickering while IR
« on: 2021-04-25, 15:02:14 »
Hello,

I've been facing this peculiar issue off late. Whenever I try to start Interactive Rendering the following things happen:
1. My mouse cursor starts flickering.
2. The IR freezes for a bit.
3. When I change the camera angle, it takes time to refresh the new scene.

Although I couldn't take a screenshot of the cursor flickering, I thought to ask for guidance here.
Would appreciate if someone could assist me here.
Thanks

I have the following specs.
AMD 3900X
32 GB RAM
2070 Super (Updated driver)

I honestly loved the artwork.
Can you share some good tutorials on the internet to learn exterior lighting?
Youtube seems to have limited resources

Hey, lovely work
What lighting have you used here?
The edges are really crisp, have you used sharpening or more passes?
