Sculpting the mud = amazing dedication +1

Before you started, did you consider generating the mud procedurally with TyFlow or Houdini?

Thanks for your valuable feedback.

When I sketched out the concept, I had in my mind to do it with the Substance painter and alchemist - which is straightforward procedure.

Plus the model is sculpted in Mudbox and shaded with an aggressive displacement

Looks damn real.

That mud/soil texture has really come to life.

How did you do the water in the mud as reflection?

Excellent work

Thank you for that.

The water is a seperate plane with water material placed in between the mud sculpt model.

Mud has a corona material with high gloss and specular + added bump and displacement

@Super68:

I used the Mad Car plugin for the basic motion + some manual tweaks for necessary elements

Car and especially driver animation is very well done, but there are things that i would like to see being improved. It would be nice to see ground and water displaced by the wheels. Vegetation placement and overal scene shading doesn't look very convincing. But worst of all is camera shake - it looks very fake and drags down all experience very much. I'd say, even static camera would look much better.

Overall, it's a solid work, but with some polishing, it could be made even better.
I'm not Corona Team member. Everything i say, is my personal opinion only.
