Hi C4D-Coronauts,

as a part of our effort to make the integration of Corona into C4D really smooth, we want to ensure good integration with some of the major render farms.  We're planning to start off with some three farms and then potentially add more pending popular demand.
So which ones should we start off with? Just list the three best ones for Win and OS X.  Thanks!

Best,
Jarda

Any input on this? Do you know of any important farms that still do not support Corona?

Hi Jarda, I don't often use render farms but it could be I need more use of them in the future.

What extra steps would you need to be taking to integrate corona into specific render farms? Are you talking about how it handles things like proxy file naming/loading so they dont stay the same as the users drive/naming configuration?

Hi,

all of it - there's testing of the tech and also contracts to write...

But more, I was just curious to know what farms people like in general.

Are there any render farms that support Corona for Cinema4D? Even though it's in Alpha stage?

I am using Rebus Farm. I do only static images for visualizations. I think they always have the current version of Corona. I was with them just fine. It works on both Mac and Win.

I was using render4you a while back. They actually had the option to tile render stuff (multiple cameras) but of course it didn't work with clipping and such stuff. Was a pleasant experience!

Does anyone know if any render farms support the beta builds? Rebus are still stuck on alpha 6.1.

Cheers

I use Ranchcomputing.

Very good support and very simple plugin for uploading files.
