Is there a reason there is no Corona/c4d specific model and texture websites? Theres plenty for 3ds, blender, cad, etc. But none for c4d corona users.

are there websites im just not aware of?

updated to the newest daily build and get a chaos licensing error. but when i open the license server is goes to a errored page. Is this a known issue and is there a fix?

[C4D] Daily Builds / empty view ports after latest update

With the most recent daily build update I started getting black/empty viewports. The scene would be visible once opened but as soon as I change to a different view or navigate the scene it turns black. After my queue finishes im going to reinstall corona without any daily builds. Has anyone else experienced this and know a fix or what might be causing this?

[C4D] I need help! / .mtl issue again

I've made posts about this before but never got a true solution. I've gone through 1000s of models that come with .OBJ and .MTL files but have never been able to figure out how to get the mtl files to upload with the objects. I've linked a scene below and was wondering if someone more knowledgeable would help show me how to properly import the .MTL file with the scene. OR atleast tell me why it doesnt work.

I'd love to see a mass expansion of corona materials. More styles of metals, woods, tiles, and fabrics for sure! My workflow will thank you lol

Forgive me and educate me if there is already something similar to this that I'm unaware of.. But I'd love to be able to exclude objects from the sun at an adjustable amount. Say I just wanted to exclude 80% of the light from the sun on a single object. This would be amazing!

I'm absolutely loving the new corona materials, however I have something I want to discuss about them...

1.Has anyone else noticed that the displacement maps have to be inverted from the original material to work correctly?

2.Why is every metal set to 999 IOR? Its physically not correct and I have to adjust every metal to its real IOR value but shouldnt they be the true IOR by default?

[C4D] I need help! / Glass and metal material in viewport

Is there a way to get glass and metal materials to actually show in the viewport? Currently they just show as black until I render them.

Am I making the materials wrong and thats why they arent showing or is this just something people deal with? I know in vray and standard render itll show me the chrome and glass but for some reason corona never has.

I appreciate any feedback!

I have been loving the material library! I hope more is added at some point!

 However, I have some concerns...
 
 Concern 1 : Metals are set to anywhere from 80-999 IOR which doesnt seem right or realistic and have to be turned down to work in a realistic lit environment.

 Concern 2 : Displacement maps need to be inverted to properly display the displaced area. (is this just a setting issue I have or are others experiencing this?)

 Let me know if you think im doing something wrong or youve experienced these minor issues as well!

[C4D] I need help! / Excluding Sky from 1 object

The title says it all. I know that you can turn off reflections and refractions on sky and it effects the entire scene but you cant target a single object to not be effected by the sky like you can the sun. Whats the best method to exclude a single object from the skys reflection?

 I could render the object in a separate scene and overlay but id be doing about 200 product images and want to avoid extra photoshop editing if possible. any suggestions?

Can someone please explain what exactly happens when you have the sun linked to the sky like this? It doesnt change the direction or values to match the sun so what exactly is its purpose? or is that its purpose and it just doesn't work? screenshot attached to show what I mean. Terminology is not my strong suit.
