Thank you SairesArt. Do have any personal experience using either of those two softwares? They both seem pretty complicated to figure out.

Thanks, Tom, I am looking for something that is stereoscopic.
Did you take a look at theviewer.co? I am looking for that, just not their hosting service.

I'm sure this is talked about bunches of times, but I need some help.

What are the best VR apps/programs to create a walk-through with Corona?

Are there any free ones? What are the advantages of the paid ones?

Are there any tutorials on how to use them and properly set up the renderings?

I am looking for something that is like theviewer.co but something that does not need a monthly subscription to keep the walkthrough on their servers. I don't mind paying but I want to be able to hand the walkthrough to the client and not have to worry about the subscription.

Thanks in advance

General CG Discussion / Fast modeling
« on: 2019-02-21, 00:39:34 »
HI Guys

I work as an archviz freelancer and currently use 3ds Max + Corona for all my work. My problem is that modeling in Max is very time-consuming. Is there any software that modeling is faster/easier than Max which can be imported easily into Max? Any ideas?

Thanks

Work in Progress/Tests / volume material test

Hi Guys
I wanted to try out using volume material in a forest setting.
What do you think?

If the house is narrow you could use clipping cam setting, so you can put camera even outside with the camera clipping plane inside the house; maybe you could also try to add some dof because it seems a bit flat image
Thanks for the tip, but i used clipping and it was still difficult. The house is 15 feet wide and 56 feet long, and the client wanted as much of the room as possible in each image.

A recent job I did for an architect. The main challenge of the job was that the house is very narrow, so it was hard to get nice camera angles.

What do you guys think about these renderings?

Thanks I think I found the problem, the material had refraction set to 1 instead of using translucency.

Hi
Does anyone know what these white/light borders around the leaves are, and how to get rid of it?

Thanks

thank you!
the camera angle is what Binyan placed in the scene. but besides that, do you think adding some grunge to the concrete wall will help? also the brick wall in the kitchen is supposed to be porcelain tile, does it look to plasticy for that?
