Howdy!

I totally amazed by new versions of Corona. The light mixer and bloom and glare are working pretty nice and I was eager to test these.

So there was a small competition about post apocalypse and I though about taking a part. And this is what I made after few days working in free time.
The goal was to not spend to much time on it so I know it could be better, but I still hope you like it :)

The cool thing is that most of postproduction is done in Corona! The photoshop helped to burn the sky a bit more, add people and birds and few other details.

Please tell me what you think!

Hi dubcat!! Remember me? :)
I was taking a look at megascans, maybe I will give it a try one day. now I just read...
And you wrote that you've used IOR above 2.0 from time to time. But you did told me before to not use anything above 1.5. Can you explain or send some threads to read about what IOR I am exactlly alowed to use in Corona 1.4 please?

And I see that you are aware what will be implemented in 1.5! Can you also give me some hints about that? Cuz I would still like to keep up with creating PBR shareds in upcomming versions...

And maybe you also have some info about PBR in VRay?

Any help will be fantastic!

Hi all.

I'd like to share my new visualizations of a Lennox Residence located in Belgium.
Done in 3Ds max, Corona (of course) and some adjustments in Photoshop.

Hope you like it!

And if you like to see more works of me and my team, please check our site www.one2.com.pl

Thanks a lot for your time and explaining the case!
Well we need to stick to what we have for now and have hope that better shaders will be implemented ASAP :)

I did some test in VRay using the method you guys speak of and it looks promising! Now It's time for Corona tests...

Thank you so much, now all is clear as a whistle!

I have another question for all you guys If I may:

What is your best www where we can find IOR for a specific material? I know there are tons of it around the net, but I'm wondering what's your solutions :)

do you propouse to turn off the fresnel (set it to 999) and create a custom one for the metals, but leave it turn on and set it to round 1,3 for other materials (like plastics)?
Since Corona doesn't have "Advanced IOR" yet, you have to disable the "Simple IOR" and use "Siger ComplexFresnel" or a Custom Falloff in Reflection, to simulate "Advanced IOR".
For plastic you just leave Reflection at 1, and adjust IOR to your liking between 1.3-1.6.

Hm let's see if I understood you correctly: you suggest to leave IOR "on" for every plastic but in your opinion metals have "advanced IOR" and I should custom the IOR?
Or maybe i can custom all material'sIOR, even plastic ones...?

O wow man! This is THE thread! Thank you, that will clear things out for sure!
Do you propouse to use Quixel or Substance Painter in production? I mean i know this can be a great tool, but is it a MUST HAVE if I need to create realistic looking stuff?

P.S. Can you share the LUT file? :D
