Hi ,  I just noticed that if i set Glossiness mode on corona preferences all materials preset are created wrong, with 0% glossiness when it should be 100%. It seems that it keeps original Roughness values on Glossiness field. Thanks

I Need to install corona 5 on c4d S22, but it is invisible in c4d. Corona is installed because standlone works. What can i do?

Does Beta 4 has an improved bump calculation, official v3 has a huge problem with greyscale bump maps.

this has been already reported by me and other users but nothing new to date.
It is mainly a problem in interactive render not updating.

i tested that :
macos 10.12, cinema r19
normal instances do ignore the light color, this is certainly a bug
render instances do not produce a light here at all

During interactive render if you check/uncheck render instance the color/power of emitter is updated.
This is a serious bug to me but it seems we are not getting muche attention, is there an official bug report website?

strange, to me it works as always. If instance is selected it is not visible.
If it is not selected, it works well with the same temperature

Which c4d version are you using? I'm using v19 on Win 10

Color can be controlled in the Cloner's Transform section, the Color parameters. Of course this does mean all Cloned lights will have the same color.

i think you missed the point, a light instance does not change its color when you change it on its generator. And i'm not talking about mograph cloner

I found a possible bug on this release.
In previous versions you could use c4d instances to clone corona lights, if you checked "render instance" the light clones didn't work.
Now if you use standard instance the clones work but they don't change color when you change it from main light, if you check "render instance" the lights work and accept color changing.
This happens every time in interactive render and normal render.

Oh thank god i found someone with this request!
I tried to ask couple of times in the forum but didn't get much attention.
It is a feature also maxwell has: you can decide whiche bitmap to display on vieport (bump, refl, diff..) it is great.

I am loading a texture in the max distance texture slot, not in the occluded or unoccluded texture slot.
What i am trying toi achieve is to use a texture to mask occluded and unoccluded color in order to avoid that plain gradient transition between the 2 colors.
I used to do this in Vray, i used a texture in dirt map but the i could still use the radius value.
Maybe my workflow in corona is wrong.

hi, How does "max distance texture" in Ao shader works? I want to use a texture as a mask for occluded/unoccluded colors but i can't define the radius once i use a texture.

i had tha same problem using a shader in glossy slot, maybe it due to c4d shader conversion...
