Yes. But you could have tried it yourself in a fraction of the time it took you to ask ;)

Believe it or not, I'm not able to show these freaking guides. Sorry dude!

Got it, you can't hide the camera on the viewport. It seems to be stupid one, but sometimes can save someone's time. So, if that not relevant, delete the post.

I always hide the camera in the viewport because I think the representation in the scene is too big and that gets in the way in Cinema 4D. If you know how I can make the camera smaller in the viewport, I'd appreciate it.

If it helps: I usually hide the camera in the viewport, too, and might have wondered one time or another where the composition helpers might have gone. I should have asked about that above.

@Mac3DX If you switch to Object Mode, you can scale the camera in the viewport. Doesn't change the camera settings. If you use Model mode, it will only scale the Focus Distance plane.

Sorry, no it won't work properly. You are gonna mess with the DOF. By the way, Cinema 4D sucks for small scenes, they should fix that.

@MacMDX Did you use the correct mode? I looked at the DoF and it only changed when using the one mode.

Using the object mode is the same as scaling it down through the coordinates tab over the camera properties, and yes, it will mess with the aperture values.

In other words, you will be scaling the DOF down. I never touch this scaling option because it always brings headaches in C4D. I don't know how to use this or for what it is intended for.
