Hi there

We are a studio based in Sydney + Melbourne, Australia, and we've just finished a set of images which we'd like to share it with you. It's a series of six hyper realistic vignettes — a collaboration between us, interior stylist Anouska Milstein and architectural photographer Tom Ross.

The idea behind vignettes (or detail shots) is nothing new, but we wanted to take it further by exploring a different side of rendering with a strong photographic influence as well as examining the relationship between a house and it’s occupant, and what it means to call a space your ‘home’. The focus here is not only on the quality of the materials — the details that make or break an image — but also on getting the viewer to understand what the full house might look like, without actually being able to see much more than a single cabinet. To do so we have selected three unique interiors, each with a strong underlying visual language that was carefully put together by Anouska and rendered by us.

Hope you like it!

Thanks!

Eye candy. One gets high from all the fine details.
By the way... your logo is great for an Australian company... looks like a shark appearing from the depth of the Pacific. :)

The 1st image's wall looks like there's a layer of wax applied on it, which detracts from it being realistic. A little sharper texture could solve this.
