Could anyone check if it also happens in newer builds? Happens only with rectangle, disc and cylindrical lights with directionality >0,5.

This is normal, since directionality means the light is only visible in a certain range of degrees. May not be nice looking but it's not false.
Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.

Could it be faked with solid colour? Maybe? :>

What would work, but only for LightMTL, not actual lights, would be to use Rayswitch material. Plug your CoronaLightMTL with directionality into all slots except direct visibility slot, and then plug another one without directionality into direct visibility slot :)

I don't "need" this, just thought it would be a useful option. Some users will probably want it anyway. Maybe an additional "use solid colour - fake" checkbox would be useful?
