Mental ray style bump mapping: apply bump map to reflection only or to diffuse shading only. Good for coated materials.

I dont want to implement this (ugly, ugly fake), you should be able to get around it with blend material (probably in the future as now it would not IMHO work)

Generally bump maps are fake unless you're making holograms. Such shaders are good for fast coated stuff, but yeah, it's nothing necessary.
