Hi,

Is it possible to render a clean "Material Color Pass" using Corona C4D (comparable with C4D's built in 'Material Color' pass = pure colors pass and zero shading)?

Hi Tom,

Thanks! I tested this, but it renders too dark (white is not white) and the 'Source Color' pass also includes shadows. Cinema 4D's 'Material Color' pass is completely clean, colors look exactly like my Photoshop texture wrapped on the model, without any shading at all.. Does Corona have this pass? Workaround would be to render the 'Material Color' pass using C4D standard renderer, but it would of course be quicker if Corona could render it directly.

Thanks!

Hey guys. I am new to corona and i have the exact same problem. SourceColor pass also renders some sort of AO-like shading wich looks very strange.
I actually only need the material color like I get when rendering "Material Color" pass in standard Cinema 4D.

Anyone - please:)

Thanks!

Are you guys able to share an example of what you are getting and these "shadows"? From a simple test here, I am not getting any shadows at all.

After some testing, there seems to be a bug with this and it was discovered that all reflections need to be disabled for this to work as expected. We are looking into it.

No change in Corona 7. We're looking into adding a new Multipass element (Render Element in Max).
