A call to the hardware gurus:
I would have loved to order the fractal design define XL R2, but it is currently not available(til mid/end January)
Any alternative worth the money?
thank you

it's for an ASRock Rack EP2C602-4L/D16. Actually my first 'big' build, so I'm quite new to the materia. It is specified as ssi eeb.

I've personally used two XL cases:
Xigmatek Elysium - not exactly convenient hdd tray, bad filtering, but great airflow.
Fractal Define XL R2 - a bit worse airflow, good filtering and very convenient hdd mounts etc.

I don't like the company (often ripping off other designs almost 1 to 1), but I see many dual CPU and multi gpu builds in Thermaltake X series cases. Seems like they offer good value for XL options.

Phanteks enthoo pro is my case of choice, with proper SSI EEB support.
