Happy Buddha 3d model

Hi,
I wanna download Happy Buddha model in .obj format but I cannot find it. I downloaded a .tar.gz but I couldn't import it into 3ds max. I opened the compressed file and it was containing .ply files which cannot be used in 3ds max. Can anyone help me out to acquire  .obj file?

Hmm...

You could potentially try downloading the Stanford .ply models and converting them over to .obj (or something else) via www.greentoken.de/onlineconv.

I think it worked for me when I wanted to use the Stanford Dragon.

There's a ply importer available from guruware, and it's free. Look it up on maxplugins.de
