Two bugs in DB19-04-23:

1. Starting any render (IR or production or iterative) always switches off "Display Elements" in render setup -> Render Elements

2. Caustics are gone when scene gets larger and Corona sun is used it seems:

- create a cylinder radius 5cm at 0/0/0, put a caustic enabled material on it, create a small plane as ground
- add sun&sky
- render -> caustics present
- add a plane with size 500x500m to the scene
- render -> caustics gone

See attachment, same scene: top has just a ground plane with 10x10m, bottom has an additional plane with 500x500m. It has to be geometry. Using a spline with those extents does nothing. Using a Corona light works.

Which build do you use? Can you give more details on your setup, because it clearly works in latest build, with modifier or without.

Hi Im having an issue with any of the daily builds.
I dont know if this is expected and will be solved when the stable release is out.

I cannot load lightmix values in the Corona Image Editor.
I always get a error

Settings cannot be loaded. Error in.conf file
'D:/...........
(line 3): invalid array value declaration.
Whole line: BoolArray colorMap.lightmixEnabledLayers   = true, true, .......

We can't reproduce it, so if anyone experiences this, please let us know! Thanks!

This image is a CoronaDIsplacementMod, right?
I was refering to DIsplace modifier from 3dsmax.

Nice caustics!
The reflective/refractive effect is clearly visible on default Corona Material, skin and layered material, but is not rendered correctly on Ray Switch Material, even with the same default one plugged into every node. The Override is applied on both floor and wall.

It works with corona 3 hotfix2

but its not working anymore on D.B. corona4 - 04.23

Can you please put that dev setting back in to disable all CoronaBitmap network loading? The last few builds with the 'fix' has been hurting me almost as much as it was before the 'fix'. I'm still getting the following error messages in almost all of my CoronaBitmap loaders:

I'm thinking that a few of the bitmap loaders takes up all of the limit, then it degrades the performance of the entire scene after the limit has been reached.

Windows 7
Max 2019
All data is being stored on a NAS.

So its essentially multimap but for materials and not maps?
Neat! It would be cool if there was a modifier to go with this to control it much like the material id modifier.
I know it could be done with wire parameters.
