Thank you for reply.
So as 3ds 2012 I will find workaround for my purposes:)
Thx again for keeping 3ds 2012 so long.

Hello,
It seems there is a Bug which makes Corona 1.7.2 + 3ds 2012 impossible to use with render farms.
In attachment you can see Corona properties from 3ds 2012 (left side) and 3ds 2013 (right side).
Due to this thing it's impossible to use 3rd party plugins (Ranch Computing farm or RenderBuzz) which are used to prepare scene for render farms, becasue it crashes the scripts.
I know 3ds 2012 will be dropped for v2 release, and it is pain in the ass, but it would be nice to have fix for this if there is maybe hotfix 3 planned:)

Best regards.

Hehe I have bigger rescpect for that you have been able to render so good interior shots with Cycles THAN all Corona part mentioned in this article;)
If you post your article on blender forums you'll get a lot of attention - because it's rare to see cycles interior renderings on this level.
Maybe more Blender people will try out Corona for Blender? and it will boost finding issues etc.

Great study & article, thanks!
I am also long time max user, but I experimenting with Blender and I've done some projects  in Blender- products renderings/animations.
If you learn Blender shortucts - the UI is comfortable. It's just different than max:)

Yeah, for me it's great that Corona supports 3ds 2012... So I don't need to pay for Autodesk subscription.
And I pay for Corona with pleasure;)
(if anyone pirates Corona - he has to be real shithead-dickhead)

And yeah, as Benoit wrote in his article - Affinity Photo can be alternative for PS, Corona is great alternative for V-Ray, now I'm waiting for such alternative for 3ds max....
I know Blender pretty well... it's great tool, I am fanboy of Blender - but it's not there yet if you want to do Archiviz...

Funny thing - I have regular offers from Autodesk resellers to exchange my lifetime license for cheaper 3ds max subspcription...

Yeah, I would love to see some entry-level tutorial explaining pipeline for exporting maps from Substance to Corona PBR shader mode.
Something related to official tutorial:

+1 :)

Because... I've got confused in Dubcat thread what is fixed, what is not, what is relating to 1.4 shader, what is not:)

[Max] General Discussion / Black Friday 2016

Hello,
I've seen on Ronen Bekerman's page info about black friday 2016 discount.
But the question is - it will be only for FairSaaS? or also for box licenses?
Thank you.
