Do you have any idea when such tool would be available?

You may need to detach some of your objects (the ones you want to see through).
Select all those objects > Right Click > Object Properties > Untick Visible to Camera.

Example, if i wanted the camera to see through everything on the Green side (It will still cast shadows and reflections), You would select everything in green and untick the "Visible to Camera".

Polyget Grasses--8 Variations--€32.50/$38.67
Vizpark Real Grass--15 Variations--€69/$82
iCube iGrass--15 Variations--€100.00/$119
Maxtree Plant Models Vol. 1--10 Variations--€105(€147 GrowFX)/$125($175 GrowFX

I currently have the last 3 grass packs and I can tell you that the materials are going to require you to remake. Some only use a gradient ramp for the grass textures. Majority of the textures are under 1k resolution as well. I'm assuming if Polyget did photogrammetry to get their textures the resolution may be higher?

As far as price point goes for the grasses, your get half the model variations at half the prices, which means they are pretty much even in price with the other packs.

Does the grass pack include the Forest Pack setup?

Received a video tour of a house from a client, to use as a guideline. And there was a photo from this angle, so i use a similar angle for an extra render.

Seen a sofa that was made with a wood frame that I like and was curious as to how it would look if it were built with the common wood pallet sizes around here.

i really like the balance of shadows/highlights in all of these shots.

can you tell more of the setup?

Most of them are just setup with an Hdri light, LUT, and some tonemapping, pretty much it.

Decided to give sofa modeling another try, the last time i tried was years ago and i wouldnt post it. This time however it came out decent, there are some nit picky things i dont like, like the texture i used on the sofa. My collection of textures i can use to pack with models is rather limited and this is one i was able to do that with.

You can take a look a the models with some additional views and other colors on my website Here.

Your rendering appears perfectly normal (what I would expect to see), so I am not really sure how to understand your post. What exactly do you mean by "dull color profile"? Can you post an example of what you are getting vs what you would like to get?

Agree with this, looks correct to me. If you want things to pop out more like in your example, just some quick color grading on your rendered image goes a long ways (Check attachments)

[Max] I need help! / Re: Strange blotches on the floor

I had an issue where one wall was producing some really strange results, turns out somehow i had duplicated the wall and it had two walls taking up the same exact space. That's probably not your issue, but worth a look. Just that area in general seems off. The bench legs almost look like they are a glass. Could also try jumping into the render setup and change "Area to Render" to Crop and just render that area.

All the above if you wanna debug it yourself... best bet would be to upload your scene and have them take a peak at it.

I have my own materials and texrures on them, was just saying with the matlib people can easily just switch materials out if they like the models but not materials.
I have a bunch of tables I modeled a few years back that I made new materials for, that are just waiting to be render. But with the new material library with Corona, it'll make things much more interesting now that people can just drag and drop those onto the models.

Just be aware that you can't sell your models if you'll use any material or texture from Corona MatLib on them.

69
that is conversion rate about 1%, this is standard for similar services. Dropbox/gmail/Corona/... does not make money by convincing everybody who tries it to buy it, but by convincing millions of people to try it ;)

But the Corona 45 day trial doesnt take you 45 days to realize you want a sub. I've been doing CG stuff as a hobby for half my life and when I was playing with beta/trial, it was just so much easier to actual get renders out! Not having to tamper with render settings and interactive rendering makes it so much easier to adjust lighting and materials. The amount of renders I do for personal experience has easily gone up 3 or 4 times. And theres the price, which isn't gonna cost an arm or leg that sweetens the deal. So kudos on such a great rendering engine :D

That's actually pretty good result - my free download to sell ratio is close to 200:1. No complaints though, if i wouldn't want that people download my models, i wouldn't put them for free. Sure, it would be nice to hear thanks from time to time, but i guess it would be quite tiresome to hear that 50k times :]

50k times... well hello mr fancy pants haha. Yeah 50k notification on nothing but thank you's would be a bit tiresome, to say the least. It would be nice to see the renders where your freebies are used in though, would be nice to see how others are using them. Ty to ivan777, attachment was a render where I felt i could use some green in the room.

In my opinion people don't respect freebies. Many of people just want to get something for free and "go to home". Community should get more attention to posts like this (original post with every monday freebies) because someone spend a lot of time to produce something and is giving it for free. One word from people should be enough - just "Thank You".
I have a blog and people are just downloading. Almost no comments, no shares, no feedback, no interaction with me by asking for something, just nothing. People are downloaders:)
I want to say again and again - thank You for freebies. For me it's timesaver stuff, and i feel that commercial product made by the same contributor (which is giving freebies) will have the same hig quality as freebies.
Greetings

Completely agree on "people are downloaders"
My thread has 633 views as of now.
My free models on my website have been downloaded 50 times, and 0 purchase.
On CGTrader the free models have been downloaded 185 times, and 3 purchases.
On 3DExport the free models have been downloaded 17 times, and 0 purchases.
I currently only have lamps for products, which isn't the highest demanding thing, but the results thus far haven't really be worth putting out a freebie at all.

hey Juraj

Awesome work - can you please elaborate on what you mean by when you used the 3dsky model and overlaid a megascans texture on it? not sure technically what you mean
He downloaded a model from 3dsky and used Megascan's textures to make the materials for it.

Updated the free coffee table model to include better geometry and better materials to break up the surface. Also 25% discount till September 17th, discount code "VF0N8R93SKQP".

Corona Bitmap and Triplanar mapping are broke for me in the latest Daily Build(2017-9-8). Adjusting any of the triplanar settings does nothing for me when using Corona Bitmap. Converting Corona Bitmap > Regular Bitmap, fixes the issue.

My test... CoronaSkinMtl is so good and easy to use!

Second this, i don't know much about skin shading, and just playing around with the digital emily model, its very easily to get one rendered out. Just using a diffuse, spec, displace and bump map. The settings are very easy to understand what they do.

[Max] I need help! / Re: How to do a rainbow
« on: 2017-09-01, 20:42:45 »
When I saw this thread, I actually tried making a rainbow using tiny drops of water and Corona's new dispersion, but failed.
Challenge accepted, anyone? ;)

Maybe a mini challenge thread might be a good idea?

As far as the rainbow goes, romullus's last render is pretty good. My only other idea is maybe just use a big plane and get creative with photoshop and mask, might be time consuming though.
