What's the render resolution and the render time when these images were taken?

The bloom and glare is computed asynchronously and may take a very long time for larger images. Depending on the image size it may take up to few minutes for the effect to show and the first iteration is computed based on the image just after the rendering has started, which may not contain all the light sources, so there are usually major differences between the first and second B&G iteration.

Ondra is already working on this issue. It looks like the source of the problem has been found and we just need to implement proper fix.
