Good morning

in the installer it allows me to install corona render for 3ds Max 2022 but when opening 3DsMax 2022, it does not appear in the list of render engines. What´s  the problem?
Thanks

regards

Hi, are you installing a v7 daily build or v6 hotfix 1?

Yeah, that one is not supposed to work :) v6 Hotfix 1 had support only for 2022 Beta that was current at the time of hotfix release.

We're planning to release v6 Hotfix 2 with support for Max 2022 release proper. There is no specific time frame for that, but it should be done within a week or two.

A bit off topic... but why was this 2022 release so silent? I only knew about it because the desktop App popped up there was a new update... The new Max seems to be a breaktrough modelling wise,

maybe because of plugin recompiles, they wanted to give time everyone to update their soft

Hi All!

I would like to share my experience about the 3DS Max and Corona 7 2021-03-22 daily build. I've found the following symptoms with two scenarios below.

1. When I try to use the interactive rendering with "Start interactive rendering in Corona VFB" button, 3ds Max immediately crashed with Error Report window.

2. If I open 3ds Max "Render Setup" window and leave it open, interactive rendering works well without any crash!

Please find an attachment about my "Render Setup" settings.

If you have saved your scene with the daily 7 builds and wish to render the scene with a stable version 6, be aware that you may need to reset your render settings, otherwise you may have crashes again.

Hi there,

I am having the same trouble. I have downloaded a trial version of 3ds max 2022. Yesterday I purchased and downloaded a monthly corona subscription and its not plugging into the renderer drop down list in 3ds max 2022. I have literally tried everything on the help topics when i go into the main page and live help chat.

Then the last time I tried the 'unpack files' technique a message saying 'Version Mismatch' popped up when opening 3ds max (please see attached file).

Id appreciate any advice on what to do please as I may have to turn some client work away if i cant get this sorted in the next few days.

thanks all xxx

Latest daily build had compatibility - https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=30876.msg183559#msg183559

(if you don't see it installed, choose Custom and check the Max 2022 option there)

What a tricky installation, I tried downloading and installing 5 times and saw the green installed text every time but nowhere to see it in Max 2022. "choose Custom and check the Max 2022 option" needs to be mentioned clearly somewhere. Just waste of time.
