Hi,

we continuously getting this error during the rendering process.
The error occurs always but the rendering goes on without issues.

Win 10 64bit,
3ds Max 2019,
Corona 6 latest daily build.

Do you have an idea what it could be?

Thanks,

Dionysios -

I am afraid the answer is the same as here: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=27598.msg162759#msg162759
If you are able to reproduce this consistently in a single scene, we would be interested in trying this on our side.

Thanks for getting back Maru.

I read the other post but I can't understand what have changed to our setup.
I've installed Corona 6 latest build and we started having these errors.

Do you still want the scene ti try? Is a bit heavy...

Thanks,

Dionysios -

Sure, that would really help us. Our Dropbox uploader accepts up to 10 GB. See: https://corona-renderer.com/upload
You can upload the full scene, or remove some elements from it while keeping the issue active.
Once uploaded, please let me know what's the file name.

Thanks a lot!

Good morning Maru,

the file is uploaded in Dropbox and the name is:  Corona_Error_Scene_Dionysios_RPBW.zip
The file is confidential and is a test scene that produces the error all the time.

Thanks,

Dionysios -

I don't have the plugins installed (Forest Pack, and some noise shader); I do get the same errors. They appear during the pre-processing phase before rendering begins. I had also turned off the NVIDIA denoising in IR and final, and was doing a final render. Also, in case it's relevant, when I hit cancel when it got to Rendering initial pass.... it didn't actually cancel, it's been showing the rendering dialog for an extra 2 minutes so far, not sure if it is ever going to actually stop :)

Hi Tom,

thanks for checking first of all.
The fact that you get the errors even without having the plugins is good as you've replicated the error.
The bad thing is that there is something wrong at this point...

For your info, this is a Revit FBX file we imported in 3ds Max.

Thanks for your support,

Dionysios -

I have the same errors since the previous daily build (from december).
My first thought was that maybe it's because it was a scene converted from vray but at this point it seems like a different problem.
And also if i stop the rendering it's hangs on still rendering and the whole 3dsmax.exe process need to be ended.

Hi
I did a test with the new daily build and the error is still here, the only surprise being that it's only showing in DR rendering.
Single rendering works fine.
Both machines are win 7 64b.
It's a small test scene made from scratch
