Hi guys, how do I get the background to be white?
For the test render image, I have attached. I have hidden all the glasses, Added a material Override, No environment map. HDRI map as single Map with Direct Visibility Override of white colour.

Thank you.

Reflection and Refraction override, as the background is seen through Glass which involves refraction?

I have hidden all the glasses in the scene. The background just looks black for some reason.
I attached a scene render. There is nothing blocking the entrance, but the environment is black. Even only with HDRI map.

Thank you.

In your last example all environment overrides are actually turned off. It doesn't matter what colour they are, as long as they're turned off, they won't have any effect on your environment.

Hi. This reminds me of a case I had, where the corona color map rendered black when set to pure white (256, 256, 256). The problem was solved by setting the color to 255, 255, 255.

Hope it helps

In the first attachment, there is "render selected" option enabled. This will render only the chosen objects, the rest (including background) will be black.
Disable the "render selected" option to have it rendered as expected.

Thank you guys. Thank you Maru. The Render Selected option was the culprit. Its always something you accidently touch becomes the ratty issue 😂
