Thank Maru,
So with curtain wall, we don't really need light portal at all since many diffuse can pass through like a bee swarm.
Never know that light portal could work with the curved surface as well xD, never tried that before.
Still, have another noob question for the first image with curved boundary, Do I need to be like making a perfect fitting geometry to that canopy? or just sth similar just to fit right in?

So here are my questions...

If u doing some interior rendering, Especially in Lobby which has some complex and curvy walls.

Do we need to use light portal, How? if not, why? Any difference between using it and not using it at all in this situation?

Thank for your hard works for providing us the best rendering solution folks.
Anyway, where can I find Corona Lights-Lister? Because I can't find it anywhere on the interface. :(

I think repetition is very visible, because you planted trees on very steep hill and every individual tree becomes very much exposed, thus making repetition more easy to spot than in normal case where only tree tops are visible. Besides it's hard to believe that trees would grow so dense on such a steep hill.

So what do u suggest? Honestly, the original goal was making an autumn forest, but it turned out crap. So I made it green instead

camera is not bad at all. maybe on last try to keep whole house in shot.
but that repeating tree is very distracting...
try more random variations for trees and add 1-2 trees in scatter.

Thank, for the random variations I have played with all settings in Itoo Forest already. Thus I'm using like 10+ trees, I think. But I still can't the good one that I'm seeking for like u said.
Do u have any good technique to share for scattering forest?

and they are too bright for distance where they are, try a subtle fade on them
I think that's because of that emission setting I used in fog. xD Anyway do u have any good reference for such atmosphere?
Though I'm looking to do more shot, ye I'm still stuck at camera view.
Thank in advance.

I think it's been weeks since I got get back to my old unfinished works. Those looks all messed up, so I decided to do the whole thing from wherever I can.
And this Project, it's actually one of the proposals I made for my first client in my last studio.
But I still seeking for some idea in case it looks incomplete. So anyone here cares to give me some feedback and advice?
By the way, this is a very small resolution since I don't wanna spend too much time on some testing images. hope u guys don't mind.
Oh right, If anyone could give some tips or where I should put my camera on then I'm all ears.

Edit: this was made with Corona Renderer 1.7 R6

I would lose the people in your scene, very distracting and don't look very good. Also, I think the textures for the wood wall panels could be improved quite a bit.

Yeah, I kinda thought of those ugly folks inside my scene too, lol. Anyway, Im still new to substance designer thing since that wood textured was my first pbr texture I created with it.
I don't know if it's ok to ask but do u know anywhere I can get good wood finishing(formica kind of thing) or good workflow in substance designer to create a good wood finishing material?

When you had a client who is super rich, yet very strictly with his economic, all you have to do is giving him the best spacing as much as possible before your nation new year. Kinda learn few things from him though. But recently I decided to review my old works since I'll need it in my portfolio for my new job.

Anyway, I would love to see come comment and critics if possible to improve the ugliness and flaws inside me.
But wait! Don't tell me about the girl, most of my colleagues already told me how creepy she is. Hahaha...

I think this is gonna be my first post here, and for more images, you can check my Behance profile (It's still fresh new profile)

well the worst case is that a meteor hits you in the face tomorrow, so why even bother doing 3D then? ;)
Bcuz no one know about the future, there r possibilities. Anything can happen.
Still this doesn't mean I stop doing what I like, but thing r better to b prepared.
But Ondra, can u tell us when will Corona Renderer 1.7 be released? Will it b on schedule? Bcuz in this situation it seems like, lol.

14
It's better to assume about the worst case, else u got on backdoor to run too.
U got a good point too about working under one roof, but I rarely see it works well in most case. Probably, it only happened in my country. :/ That's y I learn how to think backward :|
Best wish, oh! I hate wishing and I don't. But still, to most people including me is hoping to see huge progress in both development.
As long as both forces r cool, so are we?
Cheer...

Ondra, use all the extra resources you can get from ChaosGroup to make Corona better.
Vlado, don't transform Corona to Vray, no one wants to see ''advanced'' and ''expert'' tabs anymore.

Yeah, totally agreed.
Honestly, I don't wanna spend whole season to read Corona Complete Manual like wut I did years ago with V-ray Complete Manual just to fully understand how it works.
-_- Hope I won't need to learn coding and program my own Renderer in the near future, lol.
