Render instances don't seem to show up in object buffer masks.

Try this.  My setup was a bit more complicated.  Turn off render instance and it will work as expected.

Ok, I see the problem. The instances copy the object together with it's settings and tags. So if you assign the compositing tag to the master object, everything will be fine. But I just tried the same thing with a texture tag and it works even if you assign it to the parent object or to the instance itself, so maybe we should support this behavior with the compositing tag too. Thanks for the help! I'll rename the thread - if you don't mind - to better reflect what's happening.
