Difficult to give a render time as we use anywhere between 24 and 40 machines to render.

Earlier in the year we were commissioned to create a number of images displaying our client's shaker cabinet doors in various colour finishes. We created a large kitchen-dining room set, with a high level of detail to allow us to create multiple camera angles. Quick changes to colour schemes and unit doors gave the appearance of different rooms whilst maintaining the same style.

The images were all created using 3DS Max and the final scenes rendered with Corona. As usual, finishing details and tweaks were made in post production with Photoshop for better accuracy to the product finish.

Something a little different form us for this post. We've created a full 3D and VR ready kitchen space that runs on any modern web browser, without plugins or downloads. And of course the lighting here was all baked with Corona.

The brief here was to create a bold industrial interior with vast open spaces. By using on trend German kitchen designs in an interior with exposed brick, vaulted warehouse ceilings and dark metal frames our stylists and CG artists have created a magnificent industrial space.

Thanks for the comments from everyone. Just to answer a few questions about the lighting, we don't use sun and sky systems or HDRI. It's mainly about using the lightmix tool and placing individual light and reflectors like a photographer would. We do use a few directional profiles which simulate photography lights better, but it's mainly about having the understanding of the light placement. We made a video a couple of years ago that might help.

Our client, a door importer, wanted us to create a series of CG images for their new product catalogue. The images were all designed and styled in house with the challenge being to display the door as prominently as possible without letting the interior styling dominate the image. A flat composition was chosen for the majority of the images to maximise the visibility of the product in each image.

We created 15 individually styled rooms and with a wide variety of models and textures fabricated specially for this project. Each interior has a high level of detail, given that doors are generally simplistic, great care has been taken to ensure accuracy.

The CG kitchens below are the result of a few months design and production from our team last year. Everything has been created in house by our CG and design team. Producing high quality kitchen animations for use in our clients TV adverts and a number of photo-realistic CG images for use in their brochures.

Anyone any ideas on this, we are stumped?

Hi,

We are trying to render a scene using progressive mode, with DR enabled and are sending the job to backburner.

Sure we are just doing something simple but we cant get this to work. The Slaves show as FAILED in the DR tab.

When rendering locally it all works fine.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Rich
