Hi,
i have a little Problem with one of my scenes right now, never had that before. When i start to render the scene, random geomtry problems appear, like the half of a table is missing, or a cut in in a furniture appears, or geomtry totally disappear.

The funny thing is that this only appears on my Dual Xeon E5- 2687W, on my I7 Workstations it renders the way it should be.

maybe some of you had similar problems and found a solution for that.

best regards, Michael

Is the modifier stack collapsed? Strange how it is rendering on one and not the other!

i am using the build from the 2013-09-16 from the daily builds section.

i could reproduce this kind of error.

starting up max, loading the scene and hit enter, quit the render job a couple of times and the strange thinks started to happen. then i closed 3dsmax, reload the scene and it works again.

how it should look like

and here the error image

it happens total randomly.....

Can you resend me the link, I cannot find it anywhere...

BTW: you can also try the scene in newest build yourself, I'm guessing the problem will go away since I upgraded embree version
