Unfortunately Corona tiles only works correctly when mapping channels of tiles colour texture and tiles map itself are matching and ideally this should be channel 1. However i fiddled with triplanar a bit and found that it's possible to make it work albeit in quite limited fashion and it only works with native bitmap, because Corona bitmap lacks U and V rotation controls. I asked the team to address mapping channel issue together with some other added functionality and improvement, but were introduced too late in development cycle and there was no time for major changes. Lets see if there will be some further development on the tiles map in the future versions, or it will stay like it is, essentially good map, but with much room for improvement.
