[C4D] I need help! / Re: Displacement issue
« on: 2025-04-30, 22:33:51 »
Ah okay! What a newbie question ahah  I was convinced that Corona would subdivide the surface itself even if it wasn’t already subdivided, and that the level of subdivision was controlled by the displacement settings (screen size or world size)

[C4D] I need help! / Displacement issue
« on: 2025-04-30, 15:05:06 »
Hi everyone! I need a hand because I’ve been banging my head on this for a while now.
I noticed a strange effect on objects with displacement applied, and after doing a test on a native C4D cube (so no weird meshes), the issue still shows up and I can’t figure it out.
It looks like the displacement isn’t being applied along the face normal, but rather at an angle or something like that.
I’m attaching some screenshots that I hope will help clarify the issue. In one of them, I applied the same texture used for displacement also in the diffuse channel, just to show that they don’t align.

A small update to complete this work, a peaceful evening mood.

Hi everyone,
I want to share my latest work with you, a rendering project of the exterior of two twin residential buildings I recently finished in Bologna, Italy. I worked on both still renderings and a short animation to bring the design to life. Additionally, I created a fun behind-the-scenes video for social media, where I wanted to show what we 3D artists see 90% of the time compared to what the final user/client sees.
Hope you like it!

Maybe following thread can help you:  C4D 2024.4 Particles
Yes, I saw that thread, but I can't understand how to use a C4D Cloner as a source as they say at some point, instead of the RS operator thing.

[C4D] I need help! / Render Cinema 4D particles
« on: 2025-03-22, 19:37:37 »
Hello everyone! I created this rain simulation using Cinema 4D particles (not the xParticles plugin, which I don’t have), but the issue is that Corona doesn’t render the particles. So, I need to somehow convert everything into meshes or something similar. I’ve been struggling with it all day but haven’t found a solution, so I’m asking for some help! Thank you!!!

Was it Runway ?
You had to few shoots, its all from the same stills, if AI makes it soo simple i suggest you put a little more to it..
Hi! No, it is Luma AI, but the animation is more of a personal test; the client only asked for the still images. For the short animation, I've used all the stills that you can see attached.

Gallery / Villa Ulivi - From Summer Sun to Winter Snow
« on: 2025-03-11, 12:37:11 »
Hi everyone!
I’ve just wrapped up a project for a client: Villa Ulivi, a minimalist white villa nestled in Abruzzo, Italy. I experimented with two contrasting moods (a bright, commercial summer scene and a cozy snowy winter) and created short animations to bring the space to life, while also testing out some new AI tools.
Hope you like it!

Hi everyone,
I'm sharing some of the views with a more commercial mood!
I personally find the previous ones warmer and more inviting, but the client also wanted this more energetic mood!

Hi Everyone!
I'd like to share a project I completed some time ago, which I was previously unable to publish due to copyright restrictions. It involves a small intervention on two semi-detached houses in the UK, reimagining the typical English style in a contemporary manner. For this client, I proposed classic daytime renderings for commercial purposes, along with some winter-themed variations that I believe are more evocative.

Hi everyone!
New Sheltered Accommodation project designed for seniors, offering a safe, accessible environment where they can live together, fostering socialization and well-being.
I would have loved to complete more renders, but the client was already satisfied with what I delivered, so unfortunately, many remain unfinished!

With the utmost respect for the work you've done, I couldn’t help but notice that some aspects of the images feel a bit unusual. Certain areas appear blurry, as if they’re at a lower resolution, and some parts seem like they might have been added using AI. The outer elements, which are important to the scene, come across as a bit artificial and not fully integrated, almost like a flat background placed afterward. I truly admire the creativity behind your work and hope this feedback is constructive and helpful.
