Hello guys!

Really impressed by the logic and simpicity of Corona. Great job!
However, I'm experiencing some issues with noise. Maybe you have any suggestions of how to clean up the noisy areas.

Currently, I'm working on a project of a clothes store; the model was originally made in VRay.
I used CoronaConverter, but after reading some posts about CONVERTED MATS decided to recreate all shaders from scratch.

The scene is illuminated by artificial lights only, mainly by IES.
CoronaConverter turned VRay IES lights into CoronaLights (IES), but result was extremely noisy and I changed 'em to 3ds Max Photometric (with Corona Shadows ON).
The result was a bit cleaner, however the rendering time for 200 passes has increased from 2.5 hours to 4 hours.

I also tried using a higher value of Lights Samples Multiplier (up to 4), GI vs AA (up to 64) in different variations and it didn't seem to help a lot.

The first attachment is a Beauty pass

The second is Direct Pass (200 passes).

The third is Indirect Pass.

The forth is Corona Settings.

Thanks for any suggestions/tips! )

Try to remove converted IES and replace them with new corona lights with ies file BUT! use rectangle light not disc light.

By the way that sould be fixed in latest dely build.

If this wont help try different IES.

Changed lights to CoronaLight with rectangular shape and IES.
Render goes much faster, however more noise is introduced.
Tried different IES files and it doesn't seem to do much of a job.

It feels like there is no obvious ways to clean up the noise from the scene with Corona Lights(IES) only.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe anyone has an example of a scene illuminated by CoronaLight(IES) only?

Hi, any chance you could send us the scene at support? ( https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new or email to support@corona-renderer.com )
I would love to try this with 1.2.1 and the newest daily. I think there could be other problems with the scene - for example, how are the white, disk parts of lights made? Lightmtl? Self illumination?
